If you are at all familiar with how we do things at Covenant, you may already know that we encourage our Clients and friends to share their time and their talents with those who are less fortunate, and to get involved in other worthy projects and events. That's why we started Covenant Helpers several years ago.To assist us in this goal, we recently partnered with Gleaner Life, a not-for-profit financial services firm that has been “giving to our communities since 1894.”
Gleaner Life, based in Adrian Michigan, uses the operating gains earned on members' financial solutions to fund member benefits--and community service projects--through local service clubs called “arbors.”
I am delighted to announce that Covenant Financial Group received permission from the folks at Gleaner Life to form their newest arbor: “Covenant Helpers Arbor.” And besides having CFG's staff serving as officers—a reflection of our Team’s commitment to share their time and their talents to serve the Community—this provides “us” with an umbrella organization where “we” can really get involved, rolling up our sleeves to make a difference with a whole lot less time devoted to raising funds.
We feel that this relationship with Gleaner will also be a tremendous benefit to you, and we invite all of you to participate with us in helping others, and our communities.
And just as we have been doing since Covenant Helpers was started, offer opportunities to enjoy each other’s company, as we strive to make our corner of God's earth a little better.
Watch our website calendar--and your email inbox-- for Covenant Partner events. And please feel free to get in touch with us to find out more about the ways you can actively join with us in this new venture!
